Sociosight - Story Shaper - Debra Winegarten

Debra L. Winegarten, a Texas Jew and winner of Poetica Magazine's poetry contest for There's Jews in Texas? is the founder of Sociosights Press. The Press specializes in Texas women biographies, with an emphasis on middle-school social studies. Publications include works on Katherine Stinson, Ruthe Winegarten, with forthcoming books on Oveta Culp Hobby, Clara Driscoll and Adina De Zavala. Debra's full-length poetry manuscript, Where Jewish Grandmothers Come From will be available in the spring of 2013.
