Welcome to our official online home.  The Shed is a full service bike shop located in Port McNeill, BC.  We stock a large selection of bikes to suit all kinds of riders.  Mountain bikes of all kinds, road bikes, BMX, Cruisers, children's bikes, and a range of previously pedalled bikes.  Of course we also carry parts, helmets, accessories, clothes, and, in general, all things "bike" !     But we are more than that...        The Shed is all about bikes, but we carry a wide range of outdoor gear to get out there on the slopes and spending time in a tent.  Spend some time out there cooking in the great outdoors.  Do you climb?  We have gear. This site,  www.shedsite.ca is your community resource for North Island outdoor information and networking.  Keep checking back over the coming months and look for new content.  Add your own.  This site is all about providing a place for anyone who wants to share their ideas on issues related to getting out there and enjoying the outdoors. Of course, we do want to see a focus on the North Island, but don't let that stop you form starting a forum topic on, say, trail maintenance as a general topic.  Just follow the "Community" link on the main menu.    Check out the "Maps" link too.  Help build a repository of North Island maps.  Download and print or view online the maps alreday up there and feel free to share your own maps.  The maps presented there also have a comment section.  Does this map have errors?  New trails?  An interesting stop along the way?  Add your comment and share what you know.
