For $9.95 we preserve your precious Home Videos by transferring them to Video DVD. We also transfer old 8mm home movies to DVD for only 10 cents per foot. Each little 3 inch reel is 50 feet ($5). We can fit up to 35 little 3 inch reels on one 2-hour Video DVD for $9.95. Each little 3 inch reel runs about 3 to 3 1/2 minutes in time (500 to 750 megabytes). Our method of film transfer prevents any strobe light effect on a TV/monitor and the light of your film is carefully regulated for the best viewing possible. We adjust the white balance as needed whether it be blue or red, depending on what kind of light you used or didn't use while filming. We actually watch every second of your film twice, first while capturing it into the computer (they become digital avi files) and then again while editing out unwanted parts. Included in the 10 cents/foot price is editing. We edit out (on the computer) the leader, totally dark & white parts and parts where it seems someone took a movie of nothing before it gets transferred to DVD and/or your portable hard drive. We can transfer your avi files to your portable hard drive/thumbdrive for 50 cents a gigabyte. We transfer Regular 8mm, Super 8 and 16mm silent or sound movie film to DVD. Any film with sound is 35 cents per foot.
