Oil Paintings

Keith Bland is an artist specializing in paintings in oil. His new series titled, "SACRED SPACE dawn dusk" are inspried from the radiance of the sky in his home of Key West, famous for beautiful sunsets and sunrises. These large monumental paintings focus on twilight glow, the transcendent spiritual vast silent ground and space that we all share. His other series include, "Behind the Mask" and "Reflection" a series of self portraits. Contemporary portraits and faces, surreal fruit and large modern fruit still life paintings. Keith is a self-taught artist whose work explores instinctive themes inspired by emotional experience and request a meta-physical or emotional response as opposed to an intellectual one.
